I’m also having a hard time distinguishing between all of those types of brokers.

DD
1.STP (counter party/market maker)

NDD
1.DMA/STP (dma)
2.ECN (?)
3.STP (counter party/market maker)
4.ECN/STP (?)

Anything else?

^^ ECN brokers are a sub-class of NDD brokers. In other words an ECN broker means No Dealing Desk (NDD) broker. They do not have a dealing desk. If you read through the article above once more you will see that NDD brokers can be of many types, one of them being ECN brokers. ECN brokers are NDD brokers with biggest pool of liquidity possible, while with other types of NDD brokers like DMA/STP have agreements in place with some liquidity providers that responsible for filling traders’ orders.

I trade from 1 pip two 10 pips and scalp from 5 two 30 trades per day.I don’t
completely understand the difference between NDD and ECN what would be best for me,I have a good trading plan if the dealing desk would leave me be.
